Downers Grove Location
Saturdays | 10:00–11:30 AM | 4 Weeks | Beginning April 11th
Ages 9–11
We are excited to offer a unique dual-group experience designed to support both kids and their parents — at the same time, in the same place.
Confident Kids Group (Billed to Insurance)
This small-group experience helps children ages 9–11 build emotional awareness, confidence, and practical coping skills in a supportive, engaging environment.
Over four weeks, kids will learn:
-
How to deal with big feelings
-
Strategies for calming down
-
How to listen to their body’s clues
-
Ways to care for others and show empathy
Through discussion, activities, and connection with peers, kids leave with tools they can actually use in real life.
Empowered Parents Group (Free)
While kids meet, parents gather in a supportive space to gain insight, practical tools, and confidence in navigating big emotions and behaviors at home.
Topics include:
-
Understanding big behaviors through a nervous system lens
-
Strengthening connection while building emotional resilience
-
Strategies and tools for breaking the escalation cycle
This parent component is designed to complement what kids are learning — so growth happens on both sides of the relationship.
