Courtney Blakemore has a passion for supporting children, families, and individuals through life's transitions and challenges. Specializing in working with very young children and parent education, Courtney brings over 20 years of experience in the field of education, having worked as a Montessori guide, teacher trainer, and family consultant. Her work is deeply informed by the understanding that human beings are inherently social, and that our neurological functioning profoundly influences our physical and emotional responses—often without us realizing.
Courtney is committed to helping clients of all ages gain insight into how their brains and bodies are interconnected, and how this awareness can improve emotional regulation and well-being. Her approach is grounded in building safe, trusting partnerships with clients, where they can explore their feelings of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship strain, and the challenges of life transitions. With an emphasis on resilience, Courtney helps clients understand reasonable expectations while offering support as they navigate social and emotional development.
Through her extensive experience working with children and families, Courtney has developed a deep appreciation for the complex issues children and parents face today, from shifting family dynamics to the emotional ups and downs of growing up. Helping families come closer together and guiding individuals through developmental hurdles are central to her work. Courtney feels privileged to support families as they build stronger relationships, develop emotional resilience, and navigate the unique challenges they face.
