Leena Larrance

Clinical Intern

Leena Larrance is a Clinical Psychology graduate student at Benedictine University, where she is earning her Master of Science degree (expected December 2025). She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Benedictine University in 2024.


Leena is passionate about working with children and believes in a client-centered approach that incorporates elements of play therapy and mindfulness. She values creating a warm, supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered to grow.


Before joining Alder Grove Counseling, Leena supported children and families through her work in childcare, where she gained experience helping children with severe anxiety. She also served as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Benedictine University, where she supported student-athletes’ emotional well-being and personal development.


Leena is excited to be part of a community that values trauma-informed and culturally sensitive counseling, and she looks forward to contributing to Alder Grove’s mission of acceptance and growth.
