Rachel Flores
Clinical Intern
Rachel is pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work at Aurora University. She has Sociology and Spanish degrees from Gonzaga University. She has worked for three years as a case manager for a state program for seniors where she helps seniors to connect with public aid and other services and stay safe within the community. She previously interned at World Relief, a refugee resettlement agency. She is passionate about supporting older adults and children and is excited in her graduate program to explore many different directions within the social work field. When she is not working and taking classes, Rachel enjoys being active (running, walking), spending time with her family, watching shows, baking and trying new recipes, and being a “plant mom.” She is a believer that there is always hope and every person has value, and she wants to be alongside people as they grow and find strength within themselves.
